Activate Iridium voice mail
Ensure that your iridium telephone has an active SIM card installed and that the unit is switched on and registered with the Satellite.
Dial 00881662990000 and press OK on your Iridium handset. After a short pause you will hear the message "You have now accessed the Iridium messaging centre, please enter the number of the person you are trying to reach."
Dial your own Iridium telephone number in the following format 8816XXXXXXXX.
You will hear the message "You have reached the voicemail of 8816XXXXXXXX'.
Before the message ends, press * (star button) located on the bottom left hand corner of the keypad.
You will hear the message" Please enter your password'.
New subscribers will enter the last seven digits of their Iridium telephone number as their default password. Typically this will be 1XXXXXX. DO NOT PRESS OK AFTER ENTERING YOUR PASSWORD! (Please note existing subscribers will have already chosen a personalized password)
You have now accessed your Iridium messaging service. By following the voice prompts, you can personalize your outgoing message, change your access password and customize many other advanced features.

Recall Messages from your Iridium voice mail
To recall messages from your Iridium voice mail, please follow the instructions below.
This procedure is the same for calling from any type of a telephone including Iridium. If you use Iridium, please ensure that your Iridium telephone has an active SIM card installed and that the unit is switched on and registered with the Satellite.
Dial 00881662990000 ( from Iridium handsets press OK after you entered the number). After a short pause you will hear the message "You have now accessed the Iridium messaging centre, please enter the number of the person you are trying to reach."
Dial your own Iridium telephone number in the following format 8816XXXXXXXX.
You will hear the message "You have reached the voicemail of 8816XXXXXXXX'. Before the message ends, press * (star button) located on the bottom left hand corner of the keypad.
You will hear the message" Please enter your password'. Enter your password via your telephone key pad. DO NOT PRESS OK AFTER ENTERING YOUR PASSWORD!
You have now accessed your Iridium voice mail. By following the voice prompts, you can listen to your voice mail messages.

Stellen sie sicher, dass Ihr Iridium Satellitentelefon eingeschaltet ist, eine gültige / aktive Iridium SIM Karte im SIM Kartenleser steckt, im Iridium Netz eingebucht ist und ausreichend Empfang hat.
Wählen Sie die Rufnummer 00881662990000 und drücken die OK Taste. Nach einer kurzen Pause hören Sie folgende Ansage "You have now accessed the Iridium messaging centre, please enter the number of the person you are trying to reach."
Wählen Sie Ihre eigene Iridium Telefonnummer ohne die 00 am Anfang im folgenden Format 8816XXXXXXXX.
Sie hören die Ansage "You have reached the voicemail of 8816XXXXXXXX'. Bevor die Ansage beendet ist, drücken Sie bitte die * (Stern) Taste Ihrer Telefontastatur. Sie höre die Ansage " Please enter your password'.
Geber Sie Ihr Passwort über die Telefontastatur ein. DRÜCKEN SIE NICHT DIE OK TASTE NACH DER EINGABE IHRES PASSWORTES !!!
Sie sind jetzt in Ihrem Iridium Nachrichtenservice. Durch befolgen der Ansagen und Ausführen der entsprechenden Eingaben können Sie Ihre ausgehenden Nachrichten personalisieren, Ihr Passwort ändern und viele der angebotenen Funktionen Ihren Bedürfnissen entsprechend verändern.

Um Ihre Nachrichten vom Iridium-Anrufbeantworter abzurufen, folgen Sie bitte diesen Anweisungen
Die Vorgehensweise ist die selbe, unabhängig von welchem Telefon aus Sie anrufen, Iridium Telefone inklusive. Rufen Sie von einem Iridium Satellitentelefon an, stellen sie sicher, dass Ihr Iridium Satellitentelefon eingeschaltet ist, eine gültige / aktive Iridium SIM Karte im SIM Kartenleser steckt, im Iridium Netz eingebucht ist und ausreichend Empfang hat.
