Free Number for Testing Iridium Phones
To support our Iridium customers we announce the introduction of a "Test-Your-Satellite-Phone" number that all Iridium subscribers can call free-of-charge.
By dialing 1-480-752-5105 from their satellite phone, Iridium subscribers can verify that their phone is working properly and familiarize themselves with the phone's operation - all free of charge. Callers will hear a recorded message confirming that their call was completed and offering quick tips on proper handset usage. This automated service allows subscribers to test their phones whenever and wherever they like.
It is our hope that the service will be especially useful as a testing and training aid for first responders and travelers who may only use their phones infrequently. Similar to our Network Quality Guarantee, the Test-Your-Satellite-Phone number provides added assurance that your Iridium service will be there when it's most needed...any time and everywhere.
